OUR STORY

Legacy Childrens Services was birthed in 2017 under the guidance of a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grand mother, Berlinda Good who is also an Attorney/Registered Nurse in the city of Detroit, MI.  Berlinda passion was fueled  after working for a Children's Law Firm and having to intervene on behalf of a few family members, caused her to dedicate her time and commitment to Legacy Children Services.

 

 Here at Legacy Children Services our motto is to provide services for the least amongst us... our children in Foster Care and other children  in need.

I'm so excited about our providing Free Beds for Kids, our partnership with JEWJCC Adoption and Foster Care Outreach, and I'm excited about our Express Porch Donation Pick up program that provides food and clothing for those in need.

​

We have various events throughout the year to bring resources to those in need. We have a prom dress give away, for Christmas we have a give away for our Foster Children, and children in need.  Our Free Beds for Youth program runs throughout the year,  this is why monetary donations are needed.

My Mother taught me as a child Deuteronomy 10:18 "He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.
